
Ivan Alduan Iñiguez
Short Bio
Iván Alduán is a Ph.D. student at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC Madrid), and he works at the Modeling and Virtual Reality Group (GMRV), in the Department of Computer Science. His main research areas are physically-based simulation of fluids and granular media for computer graphics, and he tries to reach the next step under the supervision of Miguel A. Otaduy.
He received his BS in Computer Engineering in the Universidad de La Rioja (2007) and finished his MS in Computer Graphics, Games and Virtual Reality in the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2009).
He worked at Next Limit Technologies for two years (2008-2010) as part of the RealFlow Software team developing particle-based methods for the simulation of granular media. At this great company he experienced the needs of the animation industry and decided to pursue a Ph.D.
